We need to have Oak flooring installed in the Master Bedroom to match closely what apppears to have been installed in the late 80's.

We have just torn up the carpets at our new house and found beautiful oak floors (red oak, I believe). We plan to tear down a few walls, and also continue the oak floors into another room, and so would need approx. 188 ft2 of newly installed floors, 241 ft2 of refinishing on the original floors, and 19 ft2 of "patchwork" in the footprint of the walls we take down. The original floors are from 1952 and besides a few marks made in marker by a previous owner, are in great shape. We are looking to take down the walls on this weekend, and so would like to have the floors worked on sometime in the following week. Thank you!

I need to hardwood an office in my house and match it up to the current oak floor in my home.

We are pricing out ideas for hardwood on the first floor (approximately 1,000 square feet). The house is on a slab, not sure of the subflooring in the living room (carpet now), kitchen is lanoleum... We would like to install the proper subflooring and install 2 1/4" oak hardwood floors. We would like to do unfinished and stain with "provencial" color... It's a condo, 1420 square feet. There are 1.5 baths, 1 kitchen and a fireplace. currently there is a mix of hardwood (very little), carpet, tile, and laminate. I want to redo the entire unit with hardwood. There are approximately 6 other rooms, 2 bedrooms, study, dining room, living room, sun room. I'm looking for an estimate on the labor, material, moving furniture, etc. included in installing new flooring. Thanks. Michelle
